Pierluca Taranta, originally from Italy, studied guitar from the age of twelve and attained a Diploma with honors at the University of Music in Rome. He is a highly gifted and versatile guitarist, playing a range of styles from pop to rock and modern jazz.

Pierluca specialises in classical, acoustic and electric guitar playing and has worked in many different areas of music as a player and a producer. He also has a mass of experience in live stage work and has toured Italy and New York with many European acts performing lead guitar and vocals. During this time he has also influenced many young people with his teaching skills in various schools of music including the University of Music in Rome were he studied himself.

With influences ranging from Jimi Hendrix to Wes Montgomery, Pierluca is at one with his guitar, plays with ease and has a unique style.
