1948 Fete
Rachel will be performing a short 30 min set and will be singing some laid back Jazz and Latin with local musicians Carlos Brizzola (guitar) Jules Turner (sax). They will play on the last day of the 1948 Fete held in East Greenwich Pleasaunce in the middle weekend of the 2012 Olympics (4th and 5th August) click here for directions.
The fete will be a celebration for the people of East Greenwich and the surrounding area. There will be several zones including a Pop Up Art Gallery, Market Place, Food and Drink Zone, Performance Stage, several arenas, a Beauty, Body and Soul Zone, a dog show, baking competitions and of course lots of games and fun for all the family.
This is a free all day event, the Fete will end at 4 O Clock on Sunday, Rachel will be singing from around 2:20pm – 2:50pm.

Purple Park will be performing some original songs along with a few covers at LIVE@VIA the showcase event for fresh live bands in London’s Docklands Unit B, Hertsmere Road, E14 4AY tel: 0207 515 8549 and click here for directions.
It’s a really lovely venue, great crowd, food is available in the main bar/restaurant and if you hang around after the event you can dance the night away with a DJ too, as the intimate basement where the showcase is held turns in to a dance floor.
